At this week?s Section of Special Education Spring Reception Dr. Nicole Suchey may receive the Department?s 2016 Distinguished Alumnus Award. Suchey received her PhD from your Office, and offered as a job point university member managing teaching courses and student teachers to get a period of time. The Team of Special-Education/Multi-School Consortium Teacher Preparation Method in Sensory Impairments hasbeen honored a Teacher Preparation Grant in the Office of Special Education Applications of the U.S. Department of Education. This five year task will provide $1,244,230 to support the planning of educators who will use learners with sensory problems (learners who are Deaf and Hard of hearing, Visual Problems and Deafblind). The grant is going to be handled by principal investigator Bischke. Students can get $5,000 per term for up to six semesters. Graduate historians may be qualified to receive a tuition waiver.
